A metà tra documentario e opera di video arte Il Rosa Nudo prende spunto da Moi Pierre Seel déporté homosexuel l autobiografia che Pierre Seel scrisse nel 1982 insieme a Jean Le Bitoux uno dei più importanti attivisti per i diritti LGBT in Francia e in Europa Nel suo toccante racconto mai tradotto in italiano Seel ricostruisce la drammatica vicenda del suo internamento nel campo di Schirmeck a 30 km da Strasburgo dove assisterà all atroce morte del suo compagno Da questo racconto prende spunto il film che in 70 minuti di immagini teatrali ed evocative racconta con delicatezza e poesia gli orrori compiuti dai nazisti nei confronti di chi era schedato come omosessuale soffermandosi anche sulle teorie scientifiche per la cura dell omosessualità di Carl Peter Veernet che aprirà
Il Rosa Nudo Naked Rose is an experimental film inspired by the life of the French Pink Triangle deported Pierre Seel At the very young age of seventeen Sell was arrested by the Nazis during the war on charges of homosexuality and sent to a concentration camp In 1982 he was the first homocaust survivor to denounce the atrocities he witnessed The film has been totally self produced with a crowd funding financing It has been selected as a special event for its high artistic historical and moral value inside the 7th edition of the Queer Lion Award of the 70th Venice Film Festival 2013 and has been awarded the Gold Jury Prize in the Feature Films category at the 2013 edition of Seattle Social Justice Film Festival
