Bringing attention to a story that took place in the mid-1990s and had the characteristics of a real enterprise, this yes seems to us a strong element of originality. Particularly at a time when the Italian province is closing in on itself and succumbing to the most backward forms of individualism, a reality seems even invented in which so many ordinary citizens put their hand in their pockets to finance the rescue of the town's old theater that would otherwise have become a garage. The uniqueness of the picture is completed when one considers the protagonist of the story: Roberta Betti, a woman of humble origins who owned a cleaning company. It was she who rallied the citizenry. She challenged the banks and the Consob. She involved famous artists. She imagined a public company. She dragged her fellow citizens one by one before a notary public to get them to pay the stipulated dues. He bought back the property and returned the Politeama Theater to Prato.
