What happens when the most anticipated event in Naples bursts into people's lives? When the crowd, even if expected, literally overwhelms our day, our plans, and disrupts our existence for a few hours? Kvara is the delicate and at the same time ironic story of a young Sri Lankan street vendor who, while working during the celebrations for Napoli's championship, receives a phone call that will shatter his evening and his life. From that moment on, Kamal's attempts to reach the person who called him will fail one after the other in the chaotic frenzy of the city in celebration, until the most unexpected resolution intervenes: the only one to help Kamal is Gennaro, his rough and vaguely racist neighbor. The film's ending opens up a reflection on one of the hottest topics of our time.
